Ways to Give

The Port Washington Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history of the area and sharing historic culture with residents and visitors. Contributions help to support the 1860 Lighthouse and Light Station Museum, Resource Center and Port Exploreum, educational activities and programs. The Society is grateful to the members and friends who lend support in a multitude of ways, including financial donations and contributions of time, materials and talents.

Ways to sustain the Port Washington Historical Society

There are numerous ways to provide financial support through Current Giving or Planned Giving.

Current Giving:

  • Cash gifts
  • Gift of appreciated stock
  • Qualified charitable distributions from an IRA
  • Gifts of life insurance

Planned Giving:

  • Bequest by will or trust
  • Insurance, annuities and retirement plans
